4th of July on Site

July 5, 2017

We had a beautiful day at site today. 4th of July gave us blue skies and enough breeze to keep the bugs away (most of the time), and we made good progress.

We have a small, but cheerful crew. The small number make us feel lika a little digging family :).

Some house floors were removed today, and this always means spectacular artefacts. One of them an ivory labret (showcased by Jonathan, it’s finder).

Tomorrow we’ll continue to dig house floors, and tackle a brown beast of a context covering a large part of the site. The results, I’m sure, will be exciting. Tune in tomorrow for a report šŸ˜‰
