Artefact of the Day July 28

July 28, 2017

The artefact of the day is a point sheath with the lashing still preserved, and the point still inside the sheath. It was found by Rick in a small remanence of a house floor that belongs to the later occupation phase of the house. We have found point sheaths before, but this is the first intact one, still serving its function of protecting the point.
