Masks preparing to go home…

March 9, 2018

Rick has been playing with photoshop again:

A sample (not to scale) from the wooden masks found at Nunalleq, c. 1500-1600. Next week we will begin packing the collection for their journey back home to Quinhagak, Alaska.

We’re on a tight time schedule, so there is probably no time. But we have plans to present at least part of the collection in different digital forms in the future – so keep watching this space 🙂
