Artefact of the Day 26/8

The artefact of the day was actually found by Véro – but as it was a basket she asked Tricia to excavate it. Tricia is our on-site basket & grass expert (although she doesn’t liked to be referred to as an expert), and with a patience that most of us lack (when it comes to woven grass), she always manages to get the fragile artefacts out in one piece.

Except for possibly missing its strap, this basket is a complete fish bag – issran – for carrying fish
